Kathryn Wilson’s latest collection embraces the party circuit and continued celebrations of late Summer weddings and dinner parties with good friends.
This autumn, a timeless and classic signature permeates every design stroke, stitch and accessory, creating a sophisticated footwear wardrobe that’s both functional and covetable.
A rich palette embodied by deep, bottle green appears in croc print leather, while textural plays of nubuck contrast high-shine in colours of wineberry and blush pink. Stark, clean and classic whites are adorned with polished rose gold hardware in the most refined way.
An autumn lifestyle calls for sleek and simple brogues and point-toe-loafers, both in a casual white. A more sophisticated loafer – an increasingly desired shape from Kathryn’s devoted fans – comes adorned with gold metal horse-bits or domed stud rivets.
Sneakers are another must-have, and are a nod to a more youthful streak in the collection. 2016’s love for blush pink continues in the sneaker styles, and Kathryn’s also added a green croc upper that packs a luxurious glamour punch, perfectly encapsulating the brand’s heartbeat.
Baby Wilson
Kathryn Wilson has a new arrival, and it’s a bundle of joy! New to the brand is Kathryn’s collection of footwear for babies, aptly named ‘Baby Wilson’.
With the success of her Kathryn Wilson and Miss Wilson collections, and a foray into kids footwear with Little Wilson, the time was right for Kathryn to look to the next generation. Kathryn had recently become a mother herself, so the timing of Baby Wilson couldn’t have been more perfect.
The unisex styles have been hand-made in supple calf leather, with cute-as-a-button polka dot and animal prints. A lace-up bootie named ‘Lola’ was the first style to be released, followed by a zip up ‘Valentina’ an ode to the Kathryn Wilson hi-tops.
The collection has been lovingly created for babies from six months to 18 months.
Famous Five
One of the pillars of the Kathryn Wilson brand has been her clique of muses and supporters who have inspired Kathryn to push her designs forward, season after season. Her 10 year celebration collection was a ‘Best Of’ of sorts, inspired by these women and men, in 2015 Kathryn launched her ‘Famous Five’ collection to highlight her top styles of all time.
This capsule collection of wardrobe staples includes classic styles named after Kathryn’s muses. The range has been designed in a timeless palette of tan, stone, black, nude, and red, ensuring there’s room in everyone’s wardrobe for just one (or maybe three) pairs of these firm favourites.
The always-popular ‘Famous Five’ collection also gets a re-boot this autumn, with new colours in the Kylie Heel and Kirsten Heel including silver, dusky pink, tan, white and black. This tight, signature collection offers fashion followers a simple, trusted and elegant way to delve into the world of Kathryn Wilson.
